Kate Nash burst onto the scene last summer with her catchy brand of quirky indie-pop, and she's now starting to emerge from her tag as 'the new Lily Allen' or just the latest in a long line of MySpace wonderkids. The 20-year-old Londoner struck a chord with the nation with her #1 album Made of Bricks, a promising and refreshingly honest debut with its very modern tales of love, life and lousy boyfriends.
Brutal honesty is certainly Kate’s trademark, and she's not one to mince her words. Kate seems genuinely baffled by celebrity culture, doesn’t want to be a size 00 and isn't allowed OK! in the house. Actually she'd rather get on stage with Billy Bragg than be on the A-list, and she’s got a few things to say about sexism in the music industry too...
