The stars who flock to Cannes every year pulled out all the stops for the final night of the prestigious film festival, which saw the Palme d'Or for best film go to Laurent Cantet's Entre Les Murs. 

Everything about the gowns, the hair and make-up had to be unforgettable, and the same goes for the jewellery. Result: the luxury jewellers fight like cat and dog to lavish their diamonds on the brightest stars at the festival.
