The iconic Lacoste polo shirt celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. We take a look back at a time gone by, when tennis players played in long-sleeved shirts with wooden rackets...René Lacoste was one of those players.

But Lacoste isn't just the brand behind the polo shirt: it was also the first brand to display its emblem alongside the most prestigious sportsmen and women, and has a special relationship with sport.
